Subject outline
Place and identity, belonging and exile, power and corruption are themes that recur in writing marked by the influence of Britain. In this unit, we will examine a diverse range of anglophone twentieth-century texts to explore the lasting artistic, psychological, and political effects of colonization on postcolonial identity.
