Subject outline

In this subject we aim to introduce third year primary education students to teaching the Visual Arts (Visual Arts and Media) and the Performing Arts (Dance, Drama, Music). For each arts subject students will receive both practical skills and theoretical knowledge. Hands-on workshops will enable students to develop a broad repertoire of skills, processes and resources. Attention will be given to integrating arts subjects and using the arts to enhance other areas of learning.
