Subject outline

Students examine through practical lectures and workshops, the construction of sequential and imaginative music curricula for the primary school. Practical instruction is provided in a variety of current music teaching methods including Orff and Kodaly. Techniques for working with, and arranging for, classroom music ensembles are studied.
