Subject outline
In this subject, students will be introduced to the concepts related to the allocation of resources by financial markets over time. Particular emphasis will be placed on the applications of these concepts to the analysis of asset pricing. Topics include the theory of choice under uncertainty, efficient markets hypothesis, portfolio theory, capital asset pricing model, multifactor models for pricing securities.
