Subject outline

Sociology and anthropology are traditions of interpretation which share a primary interest in culture. In this subject, we read expressions of this interest that have been formative to the two disciplines, focusing on classic readings from key thinkers. The subject will use its chosen texts to address issues and approaches in social sciences both old and new.
