This unit is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on development models of human resource management through identifying and analysing components of effective resource management, including information technology and management information systems in human service organisations (HSOs). The second part includes legal issues for management of HSOs, highlights legal structures of agencies, employment law, professional standards, informed consent, duty to advise, law and public administration and access to legal resources.
