Subject outline
In this subject students apply the professional skills developed in earlier clinical placements to extend their knowledge of Prosthetics and Orthotics in a clinical setting context. Upon successful completion of this subject, students must have demonstrated their ability to provide clinical & technical prosthetic & orthotic professional services under minimal guidance from a clinical supervisor. Emphasis is placed on providing students with an opportunity to further develop their assessment, diagnosis & treatment planning skills within their allocated facility as well as attending to a wide range of case management responsibilities.
