Subject outline

In this subject you will build on prior learning in research subjects to independently conduct a project related to your chosen area, of health or social sciences, and critically analyse and report the outcomes of the project in a format equivalent to an honours thesis, and of a suitable standard for academic publication. The skills and capabilities gained in this subject include independent thinking, critical evaluation of literature, time management, oral communication and academic writing. This subject will prepare you for designing and conducting independent research, either in the workplace, or as part of a higher degree by research.
