CONTROL SYSTEMS
ELE3CTS
2020
Credit points: 15
Subject outline
A control system does three things: receives data measuring process variables; compares these with desired set points; and executes command functions which control a process. Students will use software tools to simulate and design control systems and improve these systems against quality indicators. These skills can be applied within disciplines including manufacturing and automation.
