Subject outline

In this subject you will undertake a readings program, under the direction of an academic staff member as the program supervisor, focusing on a specific topic area, theme or research question of interest to their wider degree program. This will involved reviewing and synthesising various forms of relevant literature and other topic material, and may also involve model or theoretical development applications or quantitative or qualitative data analysis work. This subject is designed for high-performing students, and will be available as necessary and at the discretion of the Head of School. It may be taken only at third or fourth year levels.

03. Demonstrate oral presentation skills relevant to an academic forum on the topic.
04. Demonstrate writing skills necessary to communicate their review of the literature and analysis of the topic and synthesis of solutions to academic economist readers.
