In this subject you will draw on a range of disciplines and skills to examine the factors that lead to a firm's success in the global environment. You will develop a strategy that aligns the business with its economic, social and institutional environment. Drawing on case studies and research you will develop an understanding of both the key strategic aspects of doing business in the world economy and the challenges of trading and investing internationally. You will identify trends towards global and regional integration and predict the benefits and pitfalls of entering foreign markets.
