Intended Learning Outcomes

01. Critique professional limitations to know when and how to refer patients for appropriate opinions, confirmations or treatments.
02. Organise care for effective prevention, diagnoses and treatment of anomalies and diseases of the teeth, mouth, jaws and associated tissues.
03. Determine appropriate responses for severely broken down and missing teeth (including the use of dental implants).
04. Conduct and explain planning for restorative, periodontic and prosthetic dental treatment as part of comprehensive oral rehabilitation.
05. Provide ethical dental care to individual patients, communities and defined population groups by, practicing with personal and professional integrity, honesty and trustworthiness and within legal responsibilities.
06. Evaluate available evidence critically and to support professional practice. Use information technology appropriately as an essential resource for modern dental practice.
07. Plan, organise and lead clinical teams in public or private dental practice.
08. Summarise the basic principles of practice administration, financial and personnel management in dental practice
