CSE3PRB
2020
Credit points: 15
Subject outline
The industry project enables students to experience real-life involvement in the planning and development of a medium sized project relevant to their degree that address a real-life or community problem. The project utilises a teamwork approach to problem-solving in software engineering or cybersecurity. Students integrate previously learned skills and knowledge relating to technical, social and ethical issues. The subject covers project management, team organisation and communication, system testing, configuration management, technical documentation and reporting, project documentation and reporting and milestone presentation. The subject culminates in a technical report and presentation to client representatives. This subject addresses La Trobe's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Essential. This subject represents the second semester of a year-long program. Students MUST complete both CSE3PRA and CSE3PRB in two consecutive semesters.
