This subject provides opportunities to explore and discuss challenges and successes relating to Indigenous communities developing and managing their own business. There will be a focus on the history and continuity of Aboriginal community self determination and sovereignties. Students will critically assess case studies relevant to Indigenous community development principles and practices and the role of government legislation and intervention frameworks. Indigenous voices will be privileged across all topics relating to this subject.
