Masters degree candidates begin their thesis research in the first year of their degree and continue throughout the remainder of the program. In this subject we will discuss a range of approaches to conducting research, with a particular focus on research methods most commonly used in clinical and applied research. This knowledge will support you to work collaboratively with your research supervisor to develop a research proposal and a draft of your analysis plan, both essential for your research thesis. Presentation and discussion of your research project with your peers within the workshop setting will also facilitate the development of your project and proposal. The research project must address a research question relevant to the field of clinical psychology or clinical neuropsychology.
