Subject outline
In this subject students will develop an understanding of the major intervention strategies used in community health promotion and have the experience of designing and implementing a small community health promotion project of their own. Students will establish teams to undertake the project under the supervision of staff. The experience of designing and implementing a small project using the frameworks and strategies of community level health promotion will enable students to undertake a small piece of work in an agency during the placement subject in third year.
