Subject outline
In this final clinical subject, students will expand and deepen knowledge and skills required to manage complex occupational performance and participation issues within a chosen area of contemporary or emerging occupational therapy practice. In this capstone subject, learning will focus on readiness to practice and they will analyse, synthesis and reflect upon complex information related to client management, incorporating issues related to real world practice issues relevant to that occupational practice area, as well as developing relevant practice skills. Students will extend their ability to articulate the relationship between occupation, health and wellbeing as a core threshold concept for occupational therapy within the context of complex, contemporary practice scenarios.
