This subject is a transition pathway to the Bachelor of Nursing course (second year) specifically for students who have a Nursing qualification, either as an Enrolled Nurse or a Registered Nurse outside Australia. The subject is delivered in a number of modules. Through lectures, online activities, workshops and clinical laboratories, students will develop foundational nursing knowledge specific to the Registered Nurse in Australia. You will further develop academic and practical skills required for person-centred care, an understanding of the clinical reasoning process, enquiry-based learning, working in teams and evidence-based practice, and be able to apply human anatomy and physiology to professional nursing practice.
