Subject outline
Building on their theoretical and practical understanding of screen production practices, students work individually and collaboratively to produce a short form series. Students learn to engage with an on-line environment to analyse and ultimately contribute to the web (and/or other platforms) as screen content providers. Students will devise and produce audio-visual material for possible continuous short form production. The aim of this subject is to produce creative, industry ready screen content producers, who have practical experience dealing with ethical issues, copyright, identifying & writing for target audiences and working to client expectations and briefs. This subject may include fiction, non-fiction, drama, writing for the screen, performance. Previous outcomes from this subject, including the award winning series REAL can be viewed at 'thereallab.com.'
