Credit points: 15

Subject outline

In this subject students are selected (by the coordinator) on their suitability for the opportunity to gain an internship placement with an organisation or community group within the screen arts and/or creative arts sector.

Selected students gain work experience in screen production, publicity and promotions through both a workplace evaluation and a client brief scenario. Students develop skills in accessing these networked industries from the perspective of an industry-ready future employee and undertake an in-depth experience of work as an emerging professional in the screen, creative arts and related fields.

Placements are competitive and students are selected from their achievements in the prerequisite subject MSS2SCV - Shooting Short productions and on their outstanding screen and/or production knowledge, ability to perform audio-visual skills, leadership and overall attitude and behaviour capabilities.
