Subject outline
Students will be introduced to basic skills in digital audio-visual production and will be provided with the opportunity to explore the production forms examined in theoretical screen studies subjects. Working collaboratively in small production teams, students will be involved in producing short practical exercises and uploading them to the web. Students elect to undertake screen production roles in either; direction, cinematography, editing, sound recording/design or production management to produce a completed five-minute short film screened publicly at the completion of the semester.
