Subject outline

This subject is created for students who have found their own volunteer placement in a law or law related field and who wish to complete an academic task related to their placement to gain academic credit. This subject complements LAW5INT which has a limited placement duration of 10 to 15 days. This subject is designed to accommodate placements of a longer duration such as 6 weeks and longer. The student is required to complete the placement satisfactorily and to complete an academic task which is normally an essay based on a topic or theme arising from the placement. This essay will require the student to critically reflect on their experience and thoroughly research and analyse the issue they have chosen.
