Subject outline
In this subject pre-service teachers develop knowledge and skills for teaching senior secondary outdoor education, particularly in relation to the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) Framework. Alternative pathways such as the VET Outdoor Recreation framework may be addressed. Strategic advice relating to teaching this discipline is based on learning theories, safety and legal responsibilities, application of learning technologies, audio-visual materials, and resources.
