This subject provides a practical and theoretical study in Health and Physical education curriculum development and teaching. Online materials and face-to-face workshops focus on the on the design and implementation of Health and Physical education curriculum, teaching and learning strategies including assessment and feedback strategies. Students will be given the opportunity to practice curriculum development and teaching skills as well as evaluating teaching resources relevant to health and physical education relevant to primary aged children.

Prerequisites: Students must be enrolled in one of the following courses in order to undertake this subject: Bachelor of Education Primary (EBEDP, EBEDPB, EBEDPM) or Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) (EBTP) or Bachelor of Education (EVEDB, RBEDM) or Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education (EBECB, EBECP) and should have completed 180 credit points in their course
