Subject outline
In this subject students will examine theories of learning. These theoretical approaches will be explicated in relation to school and classroom strategies. Starting with sociocultural and critical theories of education, this subject will focus on models of learning and pedagogy, effective teaching and learning environments, the constructivist classroom, teacher strategies for engagement and active learning in the contemporary classroom.
