Subject outline
In this subject first year education students develop core knowledge, skills and dispositions required to be equity oriented teachers. In a climate of cultural safety and exploration, students examine their own cultural identies, representations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and become critically reflective of the historical and socio-economic circumstances that have impacted on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Australia.
