Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) play an important role in contemporary society and therefore technological literacy is increasingly being seen as an essential part of education. In this subject you learn about the ICT used to support your education at La Trobe University, including online resources, the use of digital portfolios and Learning Management System (LMS). You also learn how ICT provides opportunity for teaching and learning in a school context including teaching approaches, relevant policy and curriculum material, software, hardware, resource development and practical ideas.
