In the context of a range of contemporary issues, students are encouraged to engage with differing viewpoints, question received knowledge and to recognise unsound or fallacious arguments.Students develop and extend critical thinking skills by identifying, constructing and evaluating academic arguments. Opportunities are provided for the development, transference and application of the principles of reasoning and logic. Assessments include a peer reviewed digital journal and a short argumentative essay.
