Subject outline

In this subject students will develop advanced skills in the application of counselling and behaviour change theories within the context of food and nutrition counselling. These skills will be applied to both individuals and groups. Finally students will gain practical skill in planning and implementing food and nutrition education with particular emphasis on translating scientific literature into end-point user-friendly, culturally appropriate written information

Prerequisites: Students must be admitted in one of the following courses: HMDP, HZHSDP or HZNDP and must pass DTN4ECN or DTN3NTE All other students must pass DTN4ECN or DTN4CPA and obtain subject coordinator approval.
