Subject outline
The industry project enables students to experience real-life involvement in the planning and development of a medium sized project relevant to their degree that addresses a real-life or community problem. The project utilises a teamwork approach to problem-solving in software engineering or cybersecurity. Students integrate previously learned skills and knowledge relating to technical, social and ethical issues. The subject covers project management, team organisation and communication, project estimation and planning, risk management, documentation and reporting and milestone presentation. This subject represents the first semester of a year-long program. Students MUST complete both CSE3PRA and CSE3PRB in two consecutive semesters.

02. Critically appraise, analyse and document system requirements to solve real-life problems in software or cybersecurity systems.

- Provide the process and approach for managing and developing business requirements and explain examples of requirements in software or cybersecurity systems. 03. Present proposed project solutions in software or cybersecurity systems and their associated project and risk management plans to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Activities:
- Highlight the standards, expectations, guidelines for project risk management process, and content for software or cybersecurity presentations of project plans and business and security requirements. Present seminars and workshops to practice the content and process of a good presentation.
