INFORMATION SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT
CSE2SDX
2019
Credit points: 15
Subject outline
This subject further develops and adds to the tools and techniques introduced in CSE1ISX: Information Systems. Major topics include information systems development strategies, project management, requirements modelling, domain modelling, behavioural modelling, structural modelling and dynamic modelling. Students will learn to use Unified Modelling Language (UML) for the analysis and design phases of IS. They will gain the ability to apply knowledge of basic science and software engineering fundamentals to information systems analysis and design.
