Subject outline

In this subject students undertake amajor self-directed project, produced under supervision, which concludes withan end-of-year exhibition supported by an exegesis (7,500 - 9,000 words). This subjectencourages independent research within a studio and practice-led context wherea high level of critical and conceptual awareness, technical competency andjudgment is required. This subject prepares students for higher professionalachievement and further post-graduate study. This subject islinked to the second semester subject VPA4SPB and the writing of the finalexegesis and must be undertaken concurrentlywith VPA4RMA in Semester 1. Honous can only be completed full time.
