In this subject, students expand their knowledge of the evidence that underpins the orthotic management of the foot in clinical practice. This includes an in-depth exploration of the principles, prescription considerations, and treatment processes associated with the orthotic management of the foot. Evidence based orthotic treatment of various pathologies and foot conditions are presented in the context of current clinical practice.

02. Use judgement and initiative to safely undertake a clinical assessment of the lower limb including casting, orthotic fabrication and fitting in regards to musculoskeletal and neurological function.
