Subject outline
This subject will provide students with a theoretical framework that underpins the paramedic systematic approach to an incident, and prepares students for further paramedic clinical content. A number of clinical concepts will be presented, including safety and wellbeing, the paramedic clinical approach, clinical reasoning, and pathophysiology and clinical procedures relating to airway and respiratory status, perfusion, and alterations in consciousness.
