QUANTITATIVE METHODS AND TOOLS
ECO4QMT
2018
Credit points: 15
Subject outline
You are introduced to the quantitative tools such as MATLAB used to undertake quantitative research in economics and econometrics. Applications using MATLAB packages scripts are presented. You will be introduced to the mathematics used in Dynamic Programing and are shown how to apply these techniques using MATLAB. Aplications in microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics are covered.
