Subject outline

One of the key principles of financial investment is that investors expect to be fully compensated for the risk associated with any investment. A second key principle is that investors can reduce their exposure to risk by holding more than one investment. In this subject you will learn how to construct a portfolio of financial assets (shares and bonds) which seeks to maximise returns and minimise risk. All of the analysis is based on real time data andinformation and drawn from the emerging Vietnamese securities market. Topicsinclude managing risk, macroeconomic performance, recognising industry potential and understanding company financialstrength
