Studio Research Methods provides the academic theoretical and conceptual support for the self-proposed trans disciplinary studio studies component. The subject focuses on the development of artist writing and negotiates the research rigour that leads to a vital studio. Students are introduced to investigative research practice in the humanities and social sciences and to an understanding of the relationship between research content, context and methodology
