Subject outline

In this elective subject for the Bachelor of Creative Arts, we will explore some of the most important strategies of spatial investigation within a contemporary visual art context including sculpture, installation, assemblage and performance art. The subject explores these strategies practical and theoretical origins and their manifestations in the world today. The subject delivery is formatted with a 1 hour lecture and 3 hour practical workshop each week, allowing you time with fellow students and the subject leader to explore your individual perspective on spatial investigation within a contemporary visual art context.
