Subject outline
Research in art and design practice enables students to examine the content and principles upon which their work is based in order to place their practice in a contemporary context. Students will develop the critical and theoretical research skills required to write a minor thesis (exegesis) which through the exporation of content and contextual data describes the area of research interest.The exegesis is a vital component of the honours year, as it should inform and support synegistically the practical project.
