Subject outline
This unit will complement both Social Policy for Developing Countries and Social Development 2. It focuses on the way in which practitioners at the local level in developing countries can either facilitate the outreach and utilisation of social services provided by central governments and NGOs or enhance the development of social services using mainly resources available locally. It is designed essentially as a practice subject.
