Subject outline
Students will focus on developing their knowledge, skills and practice in land use and environmental planning, urban design and project management through a studio and design project. Using a series of practical case studies, urban strategic planning and design exercises and working in groups and individual modules, students take a leading role in developing plans and designs for urban and regional development. Attention in the subject is given to resolving competing land uses and establishing projects that deliver net community benefit.
