In this subject, students develop an advanced understanding of the literature and the practice of management in health service organisations, with a view to establishing a strong conceptual basis for their doctoral research and at the same time enhancing their competence as professionals in health settings. Participants will select one or more aspects of management processes they desire to investigate indepth. Topics include: management of human resources, management of information systems, marketing processes, management of communication, leadership and innovation.
