Subject outline
In this subject students will explore the theoretical foundations of occupational therapy, the relationship between occupational participation, health and well being. Human occupation will be examined from a life span perspective integrating key concepts of the Model of Human Occupation (Kielhofner, 2008) and occupational science. Skills in occupational analysis, critical appraisal of research and client-centred intentional communication will be developed and applied in occupationally based learning experiences.
