Subject outline
International Commercial Arbitration examines the foundational principles and laws of arbitration both nationally and internationally. Students will explore the main national and international laws, treaties and conventions applicable to arbitration disputes. The procedural framework of the arbitral process will also be examined, along with case studies, where students will draw on their knowledge of arbitration to provide legal advice in factual scenarios.
