Subject outline

This subject will offer a high-level overview of how cyber-terrorist threats and foreign states might infiltrate systems and gain control of systems/critical infrastructure. It will include an introduction to cyber-terrorism (history and background) that distinguishes it from cyber-activism, and then will introduce students to cyber-terror issues in the information age, including a review and analysis of how terrorists recruit and fund their missions online, how they make threats to critical infrastructure, and how cyber-espionage takes place, including threats to public and private entities.
