Subject outline

In this subject students will be introduced to different theories of critical reflection (as well as the particular theory and processes used in this subject), and its uses in improving and developing professional practice. In particular, students will be provided with an in-depth experience of critical reflection through peer group discussion and support. Following a brief introduction to the theory of critical reflection, students will engage in a process of critical reflection of their own work and present examples for class discussion. Assignments will assist in linking this learning with the current literature on the professional practice in each student's chosen field.
