Credit points: 15

Subject outline

In this subject you examine and explore the notion that every child, regardless of their challenges, has the ability to learn and every learner has the opportunity to be successful in learning. You also examine teaching resources and strategies that help adapt your teaching to the individual needs of students in order to maximize opportunities for all children to succeed in learning. This includes students with high potential, under-performing students and students with special needs. It also includes strategies for involving and working effectively, sensitively and confidentially with parents/carers in their child's learning and school socialisation.
