Subject outline
This subject provides a practical and theoretical study in health and physical education curriculum development. Lectures and tutorials focus on the issues impacting on the design and implementation of health and physical education curriculum, teaching and learning strategies including assessment strategies. Students are given the opportunity to critically evaluate current curriculum guidelines and packages as well as developing knowledge and skills in the development of units of work in health and physical education for primary schools.
