Photography: Concepts and Processes 2 refines the study of study of theory and processes of photography as a personal, expressive, flexible visual medium. Digital and analogue capture and production technologies are investigated to extend your foundation of knowledge and skills to apply to observational photography. Building on the student's capacity as a photographer is supported by individual research and written work investigating historical and contemporary theoretical positions and a variety of expressive modes. Students are encouraged to participate in regular group gallery visits to Melbourne to reflect on how their work is contextualised in the contemporary art field. A DSLR camera is required.
