Subject outline

In this subject, you will be introduced to the concept of clinical governance and the use of evidence to improve the quality of health care offered. You will apply the principles of evidence based practice in a critique of current clinical practice and then formulate a detailed plan for the conduct of a clinical audit as a means of investigating the effectiveness, appropriateness and feasibility of a clinical practice. The subject is delivered via a flexible online mode comprising learning modules via LMS. A limited number of online virtual tutorials may be offered to support your learning.
